The walking tour kit is a weatherproof bag with a personal CD player, headphones, tour stories CD and a map/guide.
The map marks locations specifically selected in relation to the stories but it also reassures the walker that access to the defined areas is allowed.
You are responsible for yourselves. This is a walk in the countryside. Please ensure you keep yourselves safe and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Some areas are uneven and can be boggy.
A car power adaptor is available for TOUR ONE which can be done in a car.

PLEASE READ - PRIOR TO PLANNING WALK OVER BIG HOUSE HEAD… I am sorry to say that the Halladale River bridge - seen in photo left - is thought by some to be needing maintenance so it isn't closed but please ensure you feel comfortable crossing the bridge while on WALK TWO. So Walk ONE is fine but Walk TWO, the second of my walks needs to be done under adjusted planning if you choose not to use the bridge. You can walk the road route around on the main road to the B-road taking you into Big House or you can navigate times to cross the river by the beach when the tide is out and then may have to return by road.
